Her parents were quite wealthy people. Dad - employee of the USSR State Customs Committee, deputy minister; Mom is a translator with the rank of KGB Major. At that time, Spain was famous in the USSR, so the poetess, at the suggestion of her grandmother, was called Isabella. Later, Akhmadulina herself exchanged him for Bella. Since the parents did not have enough time, the grandmother was engaged in the education of the poetess. She taught her to read and instilled in her granddaughter a love of literature.
At school, Akhmadulin was most interested in literature, she was reluctant to go to other subjects. She began to show her first successes in writing poems when she was 15 years old. She got her own style and style. At 18, her poems were published in the October newspaper. Later, two years later, in 1957, her works were published in the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, where they were criticized. The publication of the collection “Struna” and the performance on the stage of the Polytechnic Museum in Moscow led Bella Akhmadulin to success. And although many criticized and condemned her for the old-fashioned genre and style in poetry, it was still impossible to resist her unique intonation in her voice and ease of pronunciation. And already at the age of 22, Akhmadulina wrote the most famous work, which later received musical accompaniment, “My steps have been sounding down my street for a year - my friends are leaving.” Further, her career developed rapidly: filming a movie, writing romances that flew all over the country, and performing at all poetic events.
Bella Akhmadulina significantly enriched modern female lyrics, her tricks and motives are still guessed in the poetry of many followers. At the same time, her lines went beyond the typical ladies' love of longing. She reasoned on a variety of topics, therefore, among her readers there are so many smart and spiritually developed people.
